My brother and I have a vintage John Deere box wagon that we have restored to factory original, show room condition. The wagon has markings that point to 1888 as the manufacture date with the original wood and forged steel from that time period. The John Deere archives department in Moline, ILL helped us make sure every detail was accurate and exact. The JD logo, trademark, warranty, wagon scrolling and paint colors all match the original, manufactured over 100 years ago. It is a one of a kind show stopper. We are also including a John Deere No.3 Sickle Mower with all original parts and pieces, including John Deere original replacement teeth. This particular mower was manufactured nearly 100 years ago and we have restored it to fully working condition. The grass board is made of oak hardwood and features 3 adjustable positions for taller grass. The pitman arm is also made of oak hardwood and has been connected to the drive pulley wheel with the same rivet assembly used many years ago. The colors and details match the original with the logo and trademark in contrasting colors that really stand out. The "JD" logo is located everywhere. This mower is a great piece of history. It's ready for the museum showroom or some work in the field. You won't find two John Deere items this rare, in this condition. What's even more amazing, is that both the Wagon and Sickle Mower are mostly original. The entire chassis (including the wheels), vertical boards and all iron are original. The only part of the wagon that isn't original is the bed. The sickle mower is all original, just as it came from the factory. Original pictures, documenting the condition of both the wagon and sickle mower before and after the restoration will be included. Also included is a letter and certificate of authenticity from John Deere Headquarters, certifying that we did, in fact, restore the wagon to the original condition with their assistance. If you've always wanted to own a genuine one of a kind, piece of history, you just found it. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
