New 2017 Jayco Hummingbird 17FD light weight camper.The ultra light weight Hummingbird is the newest addition to the Jayco lineup of travel trailers. Weighing in with nice low weights and packed with features and modern conveniences, it's the definition of towable fun.The front dinette model has a nice big U-shaped dinette in the front of the camper that will seat up to 6 people and converts to a second bed for an additional sleeping space. On the opposing side is a large slideout that includes the galley with the sink, stove cooktop, refrigerator and microwave in the slideout. Across from the slideout is an all in one bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. The wet bath design saves space and allows you to take a shower right over the top of the toilet. Between the toilet and the entry is an HDTV and a storage cabinet for a portable table to take outside with you under the awning. In the rear of the camper is a large queen bed.Other features of the camper include a rooftop air conditioner to keep you comfortably cool on hot days. A furnace will keep you warm when the weather turns cold. A water heater provides plenty of hot water for cooking, cleaning and bathing. There is a two burner stove top and a sink in the kitchen. A TV antenna and an optional HD TV provide entertainment options while inside the camper. There is a connection which will allow you to take the TV outside as well.On the outside you will notice the fiberglass exterior. All sides are laminated with aluminum superstructure for addes strength while keeping it light weight. There are 4 corner stabilizer jacks for a solid foundation.
