Solar Coach I had an Airstream for 8 years decided to drop the towing hassle and moved up to this coach purchased from a private seller. We looked at a lot of bad coaches out there, smelled like smoke, musty or pet odors. Then finding one that past that criteria were a several in poor condition. My good friend is a mechanic and super handy he checked it out with me a bit over 3 ½ years ago. Over the next few months we basically went thru every system. We went out west logging almost 7,000 miles without an issue. Over time another 13,000 miles were traveled. With the solar system we stayed of any shore power for over three weeks at a time. I easily spent $10,000 in upgrades & add-onsFollowing is list of upgrades; 2 New front tires ’16 4 rear ‘12 Ride hgt adjusted new Bilstein front shocks. Coach rides level Solar system capable of complete off grid camping 3 200 watt panels with Mppt MidNite Solar “Kid” controller & 2000 W Inverter Roof fan covers Camera’s Double rear, & left right lighting Led’s through out Commercial water filtration system whole coach Residential couch & two chairs/table Vinyl flooring no rugs New toilet seals New AC compressor and misc parts New Air filter | Air dryer | engine hoses | belts | fuel filters All 4 brakes refurb, new springs cam rollers Washer Dryer Residential fridge No musty old smell (Non smokers) this RV runs two fans 24x7 off solar Newer TV’s and radio the over dash unit was redone in a wood working shop to make it smaller and blend in better. All vinyl graphic’s removed I have a set of stencils (cost $500) with a custom design that can painted in colors of your choice to customize at later date. Or leave as is! New front windshield shade adj for driving and driver/pass shades New headlights | Led Fog lights Batteries 1 year old chassis, 4 Trojan house | new Intellitec monitor transfer switch. Progressive Power Surge protector Many other replacements too numerous to recall This entire unit is mechanically 100%, every square inch has been gone thru in the 3 ½ years we owned it. I bought it from original owner with 29,000 miles it now has only 49,800. Best part 10-10.5 MPG | the Caterpillar 3126 is fantastic engine with the big Allison transmission.
