2008 Holiday Rambler Chris Peeler Special 2008 Alumascape 35ft By Holiday Rambler 4 Slides 2008 Alumascape 33SKQ Sleeps: 4 Water Capacity - Black: 40 Water Capacity - Fresh: 50 Water Capacity - Grey: 80 # Air Conditioners: 2 Dry Weight: 12,000 # of Slideouts: 4 Length: 35' 0" If you are looking for a well made 35ft , 4 slide residential quality 5th wheel here you go folks. This rig is so very unique and well made. No salesman's BS this is one of my very favorite 5th wheels ever made. I sell diesel pushers for a living and have been in the coach industry most of my life in one way or another. This Alumascape is made by Holiday Rambler and has a lot of similarities with the high end coaches that they produced. One of the more unique features of this Alumascape is the riveted aluminum exterior ( not fiberglass ) connected to a welded aluminum frame. This is a fiberglass roof not rubber , again like a coach. DO you see where I am going with this? The Alumascape closely resembles the coach's they were producing at the time. Its light ( for a 35 ft , 4 slide ) weighing only 12,000 lbs . Most light weight larger 5th wheels use the exact same side walls and just cut corners for weight reasons by changing interior quality. Not with Holiday Rambler and this Alumscape..... its done just the opposite. The aluminum skin , fiberglass roof and CNC machined insulation reduce weight with out any degradation of interior quality . The same quality construction you expect and deserve in a high end 5th wheel are all here , ducted dual 15k btu ACs , real hard wood cabinetry , central vac syatem and quality furnishings . As you step into this gently used , residential quality ( coach ) 5th wheel you will notice the 3 slides in the living/ galley areas . The second thing that jumps out at you about this 35ft rear living floor plan is the windows and the abundance of natural light. Two rocher/recliners directly in front of a huge rear bay window , faceing the desk and TV area . The very well taken care of sofa sleeper and free standing dinette offer plenty of seating for guests. The very well laid out galley offers a abundance of counter tops and storage both above and below. Cabinets from floor to ceiling and covers for double sink and lift able counter extension . As you step up into a spacious king bedroom with 1 slide you will notice the head room. I am 6 2 and can stand comfortably . Storage is more than adequate with a huge front closet . Laundry is taken care of by washer and dryer connections are in its on small utility room off the master as you walk in. Advantage to this is you can do a stackable washer dryer ( not a combo ) and its centered not at front of RV so less bounce/wobble when in use. Private water closet with door ( and fan ) opposite a oversized glass shower enclosure . This is a quality built 5th wheel that offers a lower cost of long term ownership. No reason to coat the roof yearly like rubber roofs
