1998 Gulf Stream Tour Master 40' 8405 TM with just over 87ish,000 miles with barely 750 hours on the diesel generator. Fresh off a trip from New England and back. I purchased this coach in September of 2014 specifically to take my family on this road trip. I got the coach in road trip condition and now it is time to sell her, as we find that making time to actually use it is tougher than we expected. What better time to buy a coach than when she has had the bugs worked out and proven on a two week road trip, over 4000 miles. This coach has the Cummins Turbo Diesel 450HP with the Allison 6 speed trans and runs great. I rode motorcycles and you always see the RV's that don't have enough power to get the job done so they stack up traffic on hills. This beautiful coach doesn't even flinch when it gets to a hill, truly a pleasure to drive in the mountains. It has 6 nearly brand new Michelin tires and the front end has been aligned. Over $3600 worth of new tires but at 35000 GVWR, who wants to ride on old and dangerous tires! It has brand new suspension air bags all the way around. The drive-shaft u-joints have been replaced as well. Fresh service on engine oil and filter, air filter, diesel filters etc. Fresh transmission service oil and filter. Front Hub oil sights / seal have been replaced and the oil changed. All brakes have been inspected and adjusted (Many miles of life left on brakes) Starting batteries were all new in 2012 and are in great shape. I installed new coach batteries August 2015. A few new roof vent covers. I'm sure I'm forgetting more as we did quite a bit of work. The interior appears to be the later 1999 style as it has the white instead of wood accents. This helps keep the coach looking newer as the wood tends to date coaches and boats. The passenger captains chair was replaced at some point and is beige. It has a full size (as far as RV size goes) shower and Jacuzzi/whirlpool tub. It also has a washer/dry combo with a large walk in ceder closet for storage. When I started shopping for a coach, I did a lot of research, read a lot of forums and learned a lot prior to buying. I came up with this check list of items I deemed important to a coach: High horse power diesel pusher Air ride suspension Diesel generator so there is never the need for a secondary fuel source Air brakes Jake brake Dual A/C units and Dual Furnaces Here are some of the features: (there are plenty of places to see all the features these buses have) Freightliner Spartan Air Ride Chassis 7500 Onan Quiet Diesel Generator with power slide Patio awning (awnings over the large slide as well as windows too) Big Foot hydraulic leveling system 5000 lb hitch Back up camera with sound Xantrax invertor/convertor 50 amp power cord (electronically unrolls and rolls up power cord) Alcoa aluminum wheels Front gravel shield Large slide out Air brakes, Jake brake 2 A/C units, 2 furnaces 10 gallon water heater 3 TV's (front of coach, bedroom and outside) Much more..... Needs/Known issues: Will need a bed. We used a spare from our house. Jack plates are loose and trip the warning sensors so they are just tied up for travel as to keep the senors quite. Crack in upper right corner of the windshield. Does not leak or impair driver or passengers view. It was like this when I purchased it and didn't notice it till we were already on our trip. Its that unnoticeable. Small tear in the large awning. Easily repairable, we didn't actually use it. Do your homework. Look at lots of coaches. I chose this coach because of features and price. Buying a newer more expensive coach would be nice but these sit around more than they get used so I didn't want to tie up 6 figures in a coach. I do still have a loan on this so payoff will be handled with the bank. Sold in AS-IS / Where-is condition. Buyer responsible for inspection prior to purchase. Good luck and ask questions!
