1984 Fruehauf tank container chassis. 40 ft long. Gooseneck design. Good condition - Painted in 2011. New brake shoes, brake drums, wheel seals, and hubcaps. Tires in good condition. Currently located in Irwindale CA. Buyer must arrange pick up. Buyer must arrange license, registration and DOT inspection. Current registration is in Maine. This listing is for a 1970 Fruehauf Aluminum Pneumatic Bulk 1550 Cubic Foot Trailer. I have included (24) photos in this listing, but I have a total of (44) photos that I can email you if you are intersted as the photos show you much more about the trailer than I can describe in words. The trailer appears to be in decent working order. I have shown a photo of the front end of the trailer with doors. One of the doors is slightly bent and could use a little TLC. It does have the normal wear that would be expected of a trailer of its age! The rough dimensions of the trailer are approximately 45' long, 8' wide, 13' high and a light weight of around 12,500 lbs. I will require a $1000 deposit within 24 hours of purchase with the balance due within 7 days of purchase. Pick up time is fairly negotiable and can sit where it is for a while if needed. This trailer is located in Porterville, CA, 93257 at a storage facility. It is possible to view / inspect it in person, but it does take an appointment to set up a time. Think of one of those small Uhaul trailers that you always wanted to own, this one was not Uhaul but it was once part of a rental fleet. I have towed it through Arizona and Nevada with a few off road adventures. Easy tow with my VW Jetta wagon. Fruehauf was a big deal in the large tractor trailer market and I have never seen another like this one . The lights all work and hitch is fine. Aluminum construction full size 15" wheels rolls well over rough terrain . I was using it as a towable mini garage. Just not practical for me any more. You are able to stand up and lay down if your not too tall. Title in hand. Could be well served going to great events like burning-man camping or hauling your living room across the country
