2012 Forest River V-Cross Platinum priced to move. It is half-ton towable! Dry weight is 7,600 lbs. With cargo, figure for approx. 9,500 lbs. Including its options, lowest retail according to NADA is $22,705. Model # 275VRL. I am selling this fifth wheel because I no longer need it for traveling. This fifth wheel has been used full time, and has some normal signs of wear. Overall condition is 8 out of 10; 10 being the best. Extended Platinum XtraRide Service Warranty has 3 years remaining and can be transferred to new owner for $50. Basically anything mechanical or electrical is covered under the warranty($100 deductible/service visit) and it comes with free roadside assistance (no deductible). Most service shops recognize this popular warranty company and I have been very pleased with the ease of using it. Below I list the additional options which add value to the Platinum package, then I will list things that need serviced. Needing Service: Full check-up on exterior seals is due(corners, windows), full service on slide-out gaskets are needed(not leaking-just visual wear), Bathroom vent (newly installed but quit working after 3 days), Light replacement above bathroom sink, Back exterior fiberglass panel is partially de-laminated due to slight water leakage during storm(source of water was re-sealed within 1 day), awning needs serviced(motor works, but will not roll-up evenly). I sold my truck, so I have no way to transport this fifth wheel to the dealer for servicing. If this list of items needing service scares you; reality check- they all need service in one way or the other. You can buy used from a dealer, from whom you will generally only get the half-truth and a much higher price, or you can buy from a private seller and KNOW EXACTLY what you are getting. Again, all the items listed needing service with the exception of exterior sealants & fiberglass panel are covered under warranty. The slide-out gaskets are also included in the warranty. The back fiberglass could be left as is, just wanted to mention it. I am asking $5,700 below the lowest retail recommended by NADA.
