The build starts with a Ford F350 chassis featuring a 4wd, Powerstroke diesel engine in the crew cab configuration. The seller then had a custom-fabricated flatbed to fit the vehicle's camper portion. The flatbed uses DOT-type ratchet straps, just like the ones used on over-the-road transport flatbed trucks for heavy loads. The RV portion of the rig was custom-made in Michigan by a company designed for use in harsh environments such as Alaska and remote locations. The build-out includes tremendous off-the-grid capabilities with 800 watts per hour of Renogy solar panels and a 9600-watt battery AGM bank. The DC to DC charger will top off the battery bank when the truck turns on. Outback, you have three storage chests and a pack mule tow hitch platform for more capabilities. The wheels are a custom-milled dark bronze set wrapped in 40" Nitto Grappler all-terrain tires. The braking capabilities have been improved by installing Wilwood brakes, Fox shocks, and a heavy-duty steering stabilizer, which all make the 6" suspension lift work.
