Dad bought this new in 1999, and we’ve updated it. Brand new Michelins and airbags, two new air conditioners (upgrades-cold!), new awning covers above slides, new heated mirrors, new power inverter, chassis batteries, updated electrical system, replaced rear slide motor, lighted door handle and compartment hardware. Serviced backup generator, water heater, refrigerator. The interior includes all new - furniture (both captain’s chairs, pull-out sofa with a 5-inch mattress (never been slept in), recliners (great quality construction by Amish craftsmen), dining chairs, queen pillowtop mattress (like sleeping on a cloud), headboard, matching backsplashes in galley and bath, floor coverings throughout, custom handmade lambrequins (my honey built these and they are nice!), custom Bali day/night shades, microwave, TV’s, in dash stereo (AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth. Replaced various vents, lights and light covers. All plumbing has been checked for leaks. The central heat is checked out and works great. Most of the repairs done were due to this nice rig left idle for a long period of time. It has original refrigerator and washer/dryer combo and both work great. They were checked out and serviced recently. We replaced some racks in the fridge. You may want to add an icemaker. The range is original, burns propane, works great. The propane system was checked out recently. The TV's are new flat screens, never used. There is also an external compartment to add a TV and possibly a stereo system for tailgate parties or camping patio entertainment.Cabinets are original oak throughout. We replaced latches, etc. where necessary. There's a lot of storage room. The speedometer is new and didn't pick up original miles so I made a mistake on this ad earlier. Miles are about 139,500, the hour meter is about 12,000 hours. The unit sat idle for quite some time without running, so when I got it, the rings wouldn't seat and there was considerable oil blowby. You can't let a diesel engine sit. So now, the engine has new pistons and liners, main and rod bearings, rebuilt cylinder head, rings, seals, gaskets, lube and filters. The work was done by Industrial Power in Fort Worth, an authorized Cummins repair station. There is no other engine work needed or other pending problems. The Cummins engine in this rig is one of the big differences between motorhomes out there, and this one runs like a beast. Could be better: front has baked-on 3M acrylic film – cover it with a new bra, re-paint or add rhino liner. Some clearcoat flaked in a few places and a couple of scrapes, but still pretty. There is a small boogie in rear fiberglass panel and bumper. Add a new patio awning if you want one. Get a DirecTV receiver with travel package or a portable dish and your entertainment system is ready. It's a very nice older unit with some custom features you won't find anywhere. Put your touches on it and hit the road!
