Here is a RARE FIND a 1957 14 FT Deville (camper is 12' long, total with tongue is 14') still in mostly original condition. The camper weighs about 1500 LBS (I think) and pulls very easy. The camper still has the original upholstery, sink, ice box, stove/oven, light fixtures, windows, skin, and birch paneling (75% original, I replaced 4 panels). Most of which is in really good to great shape. The original floor is still in good shape under the linoleum squares i put over it when I first purchased it. Floor is completely solid. I bought it to camp in and we did, I liked it so much started the rehab. This particular camper is selling for 15,000 to 20,000 fully restored. this one is 80% done. I'm selling it because we are buying a new house and need some extra cash. I did all the hard stuff to restore it. . . what is left are the cosmetic things, pick your colors! It needs the skin painted (possibly re-skin it if you want it perfect), new counter top and table top formica, re-apolster the bench seats and bed/couch, polish the windows, and have the trailer brakes rewired. It is currently wired with a 4 flat that works but the trailer breaks are bypassed. I have video and pictures of everything that I repaired and replaced. The repair work entailed pulling the skin off in front and back to replace rotted wood around windows and frame in a couple of spots, and replace 4 of the birch panels. I straitened the skin in 2 places, and redid all of the putty tape so it is once again waterproofed. I replaced the top vent even though there was NO water damage there. I believe I'm the 2nd owner. I have a clear original title that I CAN NOT locate so I got a homebuilt title for it, for the Purpose of this sale. I do not have the original title unless I find it before you buy. You can take it anywhere and go camping today. it sleeps 5 2 double beds and a bunk hammock. A great camper to use and SHOW OFF and work on it as you go. These were high end campers in the days of Shasta, Aljoa (Aljo), and Scotty. These Deville campers are one of the most sought after "CANNED HAM CAMPERS" today and fairly rare I think. The exterior is the original aluminum siding. It has damage but is not a total loss. It has been fixed but there is some more body work to do before its painted. The original Deville stripe is faded but you can see the imprint of it still under the paint job previous owner put on it. The interior is all there including the sink, stove/oven (WORKS) with cooktop. The original sink and, the ice box. It still has the "Sputnik" backsplash and upper cabinet doors over the kitchen. All the cabinets and woodwork are intact but show a little wear form use over the years. Under carriage looks good, tires and wheels are good. Original hub caps still in good shape just need a good cleaning. I have the what I think are original leveling jacks also. Still in REMARKABLE CONDITION FOR A 57 YEAR OLD CAMPER!
