14' Heavy Duty Flatbed Trailer with Side Rails

This trailer was built to carry oak logs that we were cutting up in northern Michigan at the time. It would haul 2 to 3 Standard cord of oak logs cut 8 ft. long. a standard cord of oak weighs about 6,000 lbs. so we were hauling 12 - 15,00 lbs. a trip. Plus it has had many other and numerous uses through the years. It was custom built in the 1980's mainly to haul wood. The actual bed is approximately 14' Long and 6' Wide Overall, counting the tongue, the trailer is about 18' Long and counting the fenders 7 1/2' Wide. The frame is made up of side rails of 2" X 4" box steel ( made from back to back 1 1/2" X 4" Angle) and cross beams of 2" X 2" tube steel. The tongue is made up of 2 1/2" X 3 1/2" tube steel for main beam with 1 1/2" X 4 " channel steel. and tied together with 1/4" steel plate. The trailer was originally wired with conduit for lights and electric brakes. All that hardware is still there but needs to be rewired. Originally when we were hauling wood we had 8 ply tires. Those have worn out long ago and have been replaced by whatever cheap 15" tire we could find at the time. Trailer does have a rack and stake system of side rails which are functional, but could use some R & R. There is a very heavy, long and unwieldy pair of steel ramps available if the buyer wants them. Frame is solid, having been maintained through the years and the bed is of 2 X 12 Pine and was replaced and treated about 5 years ago Coupler is a 2" ball.

Custom made tear drop shaped motorcycle trailer. The cargo box is 66 inches long, 30 inches wide and 40 inches from ground to highest point on trailer. The trailer has an overall length of 104 in. including the tongue. It has Torsion independent axle, 155R12" tires with chrome wheels, diamond plate tool box on front of trailer, wired hitch and has an interior light. Lift hatch door is 38 in. X 30 in. with gas strut door lifters and lock. The finish is brushed aluminum. Pulls perfectly behind a motorcycle equipped with a hitch. This trailer has a rear and side gate that are spring loaded for easy lifting. I would be great for a lawn business with 2 lift gates. It is built with a 3,500 lb Axle and Leaf Springs. The box measures 101 inches wide outside (widest legal limit), 97 inches wide inside, and 147 inches long with extra tie down hook. New Tires. Custom built by Hudson Brothers. The side with the lift gate has a stabilizer brace that can be used when loading from the side. (See Picture). It would make a great Lawn Service trailer or will hold Four 4-wheelers.
