Selling my 1997 American Cruiser RV. I have owned it for a few years, and it has been a great van to travel and camp in. Set up great for two person travel but we have slept 3 on the bed with no problems. Trouble free mechanically with the 5.4L Triton V8 and automatic transmission. Only 92k miles. Southern van with no rust issues. Recently put a new deep cycle battery in for the coach (separate from chassis battery). This is a complete RV, just smaller. Has 3 way fridge (120V shore power, propane, and 12V) that works great in all configurations. Has microwave (120V only), rear air conditioner (120V) in addition to the van air conditioner used while driving, propane RV heater, on-board water tanks, water heater (120V and propane), propane tank (under van). Sink and propane stove work great, as well as the vent hood above stove, with indicators for tank and battery levels. Toilet inside van. Only shower is outside hand held though. Plenty of 120V outlets inside and out for when you are plugged in. Lots of lights that work on 120V or 12V. Carpet and interior in excellent condition. Lots of beautiful wood cabinets with tons of storage. Huge bench seats and removable solid wood table in the back that converts to a large bed (6' long x 5'10" wide) with thick comfortable cushions. No leaks. All windows and window shades work properly. Has TV with VCR, but I don't think I have ever used it (TV does power on though). Has privacy curtains on track that go around windshield. It is not perfect, as it is a 1997 model. Some of the RV graphics are fading/cracking, specifically the ones on the roof section. One of the roof vents opens and closes fine but fan is broken. The other one opens/closes and fan works properly. Only thing I know is wrong with the van chassis is that the power door locks are not hooked up. It had an alarm system installed at one point, and apparently when they removed it, they did not hook the power locks back up to the factory wiring. This was before I owned it. I have not taken the time to trace the wiring and hook them back up, but I'm sure it could be done relatively easily. All doors have standard inside lock knobs and outside keys that work properly to manually lock and unlock. The driver's seat has typical wear for a 92k mile van. Passenger seat excellent condition. Previous owner left awning up during a heavy rain, so one of the support arms is bent, and one of the pieces holding the awning on the van cracked. It stays on securely when retracted, but when you open it up, it sags some. Another relatively easy fix, but I have a pop up canopy that I have always used when camping anyway so I never worried about it. So other than those few issues that could be repaired easily if desired, this is an amazing van. Has tow hitch and plenty of power if you want to tow a trailer. Michelin LTX tires have lots of tread left, on nice custom alloy wheels. Matching spare tire mounted on outside with cover. Tires are getting older, but not bad enough shape to ever worry me. Has nice aftermarket JVC stereo installed. I have a huge folder full of all the instruction manuals for everything, receipts, etc. I am sure I have forgotten some things, but I have tried to cover everything. See pictures for additional info. This RV would probably be around $100k new today. Save lots of money and get all the same amenities with this one! If you have any questions, just let me know!
