2006 Country CoachIntrigue 530 Series Ovation 525 We're selling our motorhome; it just isn't getting used as much as we thought we would use it. It is a fantastic machine. We have logged all maintenance records/events in a journal.It has the 525hp / 1650tq Catapillar 12.5L C13 engine with 6 speed allison automatic transmission. It cruises wonderfully at 70mph, best economy (9.5mpg!) seems to be at 65mph or so. It has enough power to pull out and cars on two lane highways. Climbing west out of Salt Lake happens at more than 50mph, you blow right by the pickups and goosenecks. The three stage exhaust brake is immensely powerful; you can descend long steep grades pulling a stacker trailer without touching the brakes.It drives straight at true. It turns far sharper than you would guess had you not driven a motorhome like this before; the rear tag axle lifts with a touch of a button and then it really turns sharp. To set up, you simply park, hit the autolevel button, push a few buttons to extend the slides, then plug in. This coach has the optional 10KW generator and third 15,000BTU A/C.The large furnace and three air conditioners will keep you at whatever temperature you desire. The hydrohot has endless hot water. The private toilet and dual sinks make for lots of room for a couple to get ready. If you have a guest on the hide-a-bed, the double door setup provides them a private bathroom while you are in the bedroom.It doesn't have the biggest gray/black tanks for boondocking; honestly this machine works best in a campground. My wife and I have gone four days being exceptionally careful with water usage and that was about maximum. This included using the campsite bathrooms when convienent.It has a 22 cubic foot residential sized refrigerator. Known issues:Inverter occasionally (once every few weeks) shows an error and you have to hit reset. It continues to do its job, just shows an error.The autoleveling system has a sticky valve in the front left. I will try and have it sorted out by the time a buyer arrives.Dash AC system has an incredibly slow leak. It needs charged every couple years (easy to do yourself with refill kits). The Factory in Oregon couldn’t find the leak and showed us how to recharge.Changes from stock:Simplified AV system when updated to DirectTV.
