2005 National Tropi-cal 370LX with Diamond Package Executive Summary: National Tropi-Cal is the best example of a pre-owned short diesel around. At only 37’1”, It is easy to park and maneuver but fantastic floorplan lives like a 40’ RV. A ton of small features, build quality, and focus on live-ability make this a great choice. This motorhome has been well-maintained by 2 obsessive “RV-nerds” while used with care and it shows! We found this coach in town and purchased from a wonderful lady whose husband unfortunately had passed away. They were really huge into RVing and we learned WHY National is THE way to go. We’ve used it this year towing a single car trailer to 4 races without any trouble. If we were staying with 1 car, we would be keeping it. Yes it is that good. National built RVs with far more quality than many coach builders: Thick insulated walls and ceiling, great cabinet work, great styling, and a ton of standard features. The paint used is much higher than other RVs and it shows. Of course since they weren’t building cheap crap, they went out of business in 2007 in the downturn. Coaches need to be used, but not abused. Coach has only 68k miles which is not even broken in for a diesel. However, it was not sitting around not running which isn’t good for the mechanicals (as any RV service tech will tell you) At the same time the couple that owned it used it in the summer to travel with it stored under cover when not used(as do my wife and I). The ONLY reason my wife and I are selling this coach is because we need to pull a stacker and 2 race cars which means Toterhome or Tag RV.
