If you're looking for a small but roomy, easy-to-tow trailer, this is it. This 2013 Takena 1865-EX by Chalet RV is only 18'7" long and 7' wide, so there's no stress navigating narrow roads or parking in campgrounds. It has a very large 39" slide-out (the dinette), making open floor space of 3.5' x 7.5' plus. The dinette is large enough to seat four adults comfortably, and there's generous storage space both inside and out. The bathroom is accessible even when the slide-out's all the way in; and for those scenic-turnout lunches, the fridge door can be opened almost halfway by opening the slide-out only 12-14".The trailer is 3370# dry weight and 4500# GVW. It's fully insulated, has a 6.5' ceiling, sleeps four (queen bed and the dinette makes into a comfy 6' x 4' bed). All windows have pull-down honeycomb shades and the valances create a 3" shelf above. It has a 6-cubic foot propane/electric two-door Dometic fridge/freezer; Dometic heater and air conditioner; double kitchen sinks with cutting board covers; an oven, 3-burner cooktop and a microwave oven. The stereo/CD player has both inside and outside speakers. Outside, there's a 9' power awning; a hot/cold shower (in addition to the inside one, of course); two 4-gallon propane tanks with automatic change-over regulator; and 36 cubic feet of exterior storage, part of which is accessible from inside. The trailer has dual axles; fiberglass exterior and TPO roof; spare tire mounted underneath; stabilizer jacks; a 25-gallon fresh water tank and 36 gallons combined gray and black water capacity.We have added a solar system (two solar panels, controller and a second battery); 19" LCD TV on a swing-arm; a slide-out 'topper' awning; rear ladder; an oak-finish tabletop extension that adds almost two square feet to the table (it's the darker one in the photos); and a cover for the propane tanks. We added no-see-'em screen to the dinette and kitchen windows; a shut-off valve on the showerhead and a 1' x 4' mirror in the bathroom. We also put a 'Grand Tetons Sunset' graphic on the back, installed a second 12-volt tap, and a shut-off switch on the carbon monoxide detector so it doesn't run the batteries down during storage. Almost all interior lights have been changed to LEDs.We're including two wheel-stop chocks; a 25' water hose; two slide-out supports (seemed like a good idea for such a large slide-out); a set of leveling blocks; a customized (improved) dump station hose, tow mirrors, and a full RV cover.This Takena's in great condition. We've treated it gently, made some improvements and kept it covered when it wasn't on the road. We bought the trailer new and still love it. We're selling it now only because our Tundra is getting older and so are we, so it's time to stop towing and try a small Class C.

This 2005 Chalet Alpine is self-contained and loaded with extras. One owner, garaged and super clean. Set up is less than 1 min., easy to tow, light weight, with a straight axle designed to give more trailer height for off-road camping. The Alpine also has a refrigerator, two burner stove, a heater, a toilet/shower combination, cable and many outlets for full hook-up sites as well. When popped-up, there's approximately 10' of height, for a very spacious feel. The trailer length is 16', total length with tongue is 18', which fits perfectly inside a garage...no storage fees! This model has a gross weight rating of 2,600 lbs., with a gross hitch weight of 140 lbs. and can be towed by a small SUV and many cars...it can even go through a drive thru! This Alpine has high side walls with a tan interior, large front cargo box for all your gear, one 22 X 22 skylight in front, one 62 X 21 skylight in rear, brand new tires and a reinforced back bumper with a bike rack hitch. We've added dual propane tanks, high sink faucet, custom carpet and fleece lined walls around the bed for extra comfort. The dinette cushions have never been used, they're brand new. Currently, there's a custom made Euro-top mattress where the pop-up dinette/bed is located (we choose to eat outside, to continue having a more true "camping" experience.) This mattress can be removed prior to purchase, or you can have the option of adding it for a small additional fee. (The mattress is like new and has never been directly laid upon, since we have a separate topper). This pop-up trailer has been awesome...it's a hard-sided, off the ground, very roomy trailer that still feels like camping, but you're warm, safe, dry and have all the conveniences of home!
