2011 Carriage Cameo F36FWS, This Cameo has all the bells and whistles you might expect from a better quality and relatively high end fifth wheel with both a luxury package and a performance package. This includes, to name a few, dual air conditioners, three zone halogen lighting with dimmers, frameless Hehr windows (double paned, of course), a Bigfoot automatic leveling system, and keyless entry. The price includes a 20K Super Glide hitch, which is a special hitch for this fifth wheel. It would be necessary to use an adapter with a standard hitch if this hitch were not part of the deal. We bought it new in 2012. It has been down to the Gulf Coast during the past three winters, and on half a dozen or more short trips within the bi-state region. It is ready to roll south for the winter. We took it in for servicing this October, asking the dealer to replace a cracked shower skylight and to check the axles for proper lubrication. The dealer found that one axle had a leaking inner seal, which necessitated replacing the then lubricated (and that is not good) brakes. That leak necessitated the replacement of all four brakes (with a replacement Dexter made in America part) and replacement of the axle bearing grease with new synthetic grease. Next the dealer found excessive wear on some of the two year old tires, which necessitated replacing all four tires with brand new, 10 ply, gladiator tires. These tires have about 5 miles on them so far. So this vehicle is really ready to roll south, with assurance that everything underneath is good to go. I got receipts. I can prove it. There are no known problems on this unit. Problems were repaired as they occurred. It is in excellent, move in condition. The owners are non-smokers. Why sell it? My spouse desires to travel in a small bus or Class C motor home, preferably one that she can drive. I suspect she thinks I am getting too old to do all the driving by myself, and she cant drive my six speed, 2002 Ford F-250 diesel with 7.3 liter V-8 engine.
