This 1975 Argosy 27 foot is ready for your rebuild. The Argosy Airstream Travel Trailers were basically the same as the aluminum polished Airstreams with a couple of differences. The Argosy was made with the same airplane grade aluminum throughout - except for the end cap on each end of the roof - these are a single steel piece instead of the 5 piece aluminum on shiny Airstreams. The interior walls are also of the same aluminum found in the Airstreams. Both interior and exterior with the obvious other difference, the Argosy is painted. This unit has already undergone some basic restoration which includes: New 15K Dometic Air conditioner with wall controlNew lights down the interior ceiling (12 puck lights)Electrical system and lights serviced and certifiedOld floor and holding tanks removedNew 3/4" marine plywood sub-floor addedFrame reinforced in the rear of the unitAll window and door seals replacedThe Argosy also has an Incinolet Electric Toilet (List price $1800). The unit is new and uninstalled. I have also purchased an exterior white paint to redo the exterior - the material cost just over $200 and is a high grade covering made by POR15 and is an A/B epoxy type permanent sealant. This comes with the unit. Tires are OK - wheel covers are original. As you can see in the picture I have a few things stored in the Argosy - and it is stored in a machine shed. The Argosy is registered in California and has tags until 2016 - it was purchased in San Francisco and has been in California it's whole life - so not much if any rust.
