2010 Airstream International Serenity This is my favorite Airstream ever. (We’ve had 7 of them so far!) But my husband has decided to be a “vintage” guy so we are selling this beautiful Airstream in favor of a 1955 Whaletail “project”! We have done some serious remodeling since we’ve owned it and you could be the lucky person to take advantage of this. The original window sticker is shown in the pictures As you can see , it came with lots of “toys” which is one of the things that makes the International model so attractive. Here are the changes we have made since we have owned it: Replaced original dinette with snack bar & 2 swivel bar stools, which makes the main area much larger while also providing additional storage underneath and a wine rack at the end. Added (3) 80 watt solar panels with a Honeywell controller & 2000 watt Whistler inverter. With this arrangement, the batteries are kept at 13.6 volts. Carpet squares over original Juta flooring. We have extra squares so that, if one gets ruined, it is easy to replace with a new one. We find the floor is much warmer with carpeting but, if you don’t like carpeting, the carpet squares are just laying on the original floor and can easily be removed. (No, they do not move around on their own!) My husband is very handy and I like lots of storage, so we have made additional shelving under the kitchen sink, in the bathroom sliding doors, & in the lower bedside storage units. We have also created 2 storage areas for pans & for canned goods under the microwave. Stove/oven combo has been removed and replaced with a 3-burner stovetop and microwave oven. TV 24" added to bedroom. TV 26" in main living area replaced with TV/DVD combo. Mattress replaced with longer 8” memory foam mattress. Yes, there is still room to walk around the bed. Interior lights replaced with LCD lights for more light & better efficiency. Clothes/towels hooks added to bedroom & bathroom. Hooks also on exterior of Airstream for drying those pesky bathing suits/towels, etc. Original 8-ply tires replaced with `10-ply tires in early 2015.
