The Airstream was originally purchased in March 1977 by an airline pilot and used as a secret mobile love shack. The Airstream was sold in the subsequent divorce to a Chicago firefighter, who placed it at a campground for weekend Wisconsin getaways. I purchased it in 2011 and had a complete interior/exterior restoration performed, to include:
•Original restored cabinets throughout
•New stove, countertops, and hardware
•Fully renovated bathroom. Equipped with sink, toilet & shower.
•New heater & AC with thermostat
•New sub-flooring/carpet throughout
•New upholstery/draperies
•New tires
•New electric tongue jack
•New Fridge/Freezer
•Windows resealed with no leaks
•Functioning electrical system and lights
•Full length awning
•Every rivet examined and replaced as necessary
•Preservation of unique original aspects of trailer such as emblems, gages, decals
