I have this late model 1976 GMC Palm Beach motorhome. I'm looking for a new home for it because my Mom wants to start downsizing. My parents purchased it back in 1999. Second owner. It's been covered the whole time and the interior has always been heated. The previous owner had also had the coach garaged. (In Scottsdale, Arizona). It doesn't currently run. It might just need batteries to get it running or another simple fix. What I do know is that it's been about 10 or 11 years since it's last trip and it was running fine then. For now, it would have to be towed out of the garage. So, it would be good if you had AAA. Unless, you happen to have your own extra batteries that we could try to start it with. Some of the things my Dad wanted to have checked out and didn't get a chance to before he passed away were: He mentioned that he wanted to have the generator looked at because it was leaking some oil. He said it may need some new house batteries and possibly some air bags for the wheels. The coach does need a new fridge. The body of the motorhome still looks really good. Obviously, there is some ware and tear around the coach in different places. The upholstery is in good shape too. There were new tires put on it about 11 or 12 years ago. My parents had driven on the new tires for only one trip. There was a complete professional restoration done on the whole GMC in Florida back in 1996 by Jim Bounds at GMC Coop. $70,000 was invested. It has 16,459 miles on it since the restoration. Here's a list below of what was done on the restoration: (Obviously, several of the items on the list will need some attention).
